DRDO have no reply – taken shelter from RTI section 24(1) in corruption related cases ?

Sub:– DRDO have no reply – taken shelter from RTI section 24(1) in              corruption related cases ?

Respected Sir,

Major irregularities in the purchase of 59,000 bullet –proof jackets for security forces, the Home Ministry findings of the testing conducted by a tainted official at DRDO Chandigarh laboratory. The ministry requested the DRDO for initiating disciplinary proceedings against its scientist R.K.Verma, the joint director at the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory in Chandigarh.

My RTI related to know the disciplinary proceeding against R.K.Verma. But DRDO have no reply – taken shelter from RTI section 24(1) in corruption related cases?

However major irregularities find out by the ministry of home, but DRDO disciplinary proceedings result is unknown. May possible to promote Mr. R.K.Verma instead of major punishment with the pecuniary arrangement of the Top corrupt officers / scientist?

I request you to take necessary action as per the Home Ministry with those top scientists responsible to provide shelter during disciplinary proceedings.
