Several Twitter handles tweeted about the crash of Rustom-1 while on trials for CRPF in Jagdalpur last week of March 2021.
The Aeronautical Development Establishment, DRDO designed and developed Rustom-1, has reportedly crashed while undergoing trials. The incident reportedly took place in Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh after the Rustom-1 hit the perimeter wall of the testing site.
Kindly provide me with the following information requested under the purview of the Right to Information Act, 2005 in respect ADE Rustom-1 crash in Jagdalpur on trials for CRPF.
Provide the request letter to ADE, DRDO or DRDO Hqes for conducting RUSTOM –I trials for CRPF operations.
If, CRPF not send any request for above such trials then provide the proposal letter of ADE, DRDO for conducting above trials for CRPF operations.
Provide the participation of CRPF officials in above trials with DRDO in Jagdalpur Yes or No
Provide if DRDO asked for money or any logistic support for conducting above RUSTOM I trails.

वीके सारस्वत पूर्व राष्ट्रपति एपीजे अब्दुल कलाम के टीम का हिस्सा होने के साथ तत्कालीन रक्षा सचिव और DRDO चीफ रहे, 2013 में सारस्वत की कार्यकाल को आगे बढ़ाने की सिफारिश खुद पूर्व राष्ट्रपति अब्दुल कलाम ने की, लेकिन प्रधानमंत्री Manmohan Singh की सरकार ने वीके सारस्वत के कार्यकाल को विस्तार ना देकर खारिज कर दिया। क्योंकि वीके सारस्वत को लगातार सेना प्रमुख और जनरल VK सिंह, जनरल VP मलिक, पूर्व सेनाध्यक्ष , एयर मार्शल एके सिंह के द्वारा सवालों के घेरे में खड़ा किया जा रहा था, वीके सारस्वत पर भ्रष्टाचार के आरोप लग रहे थे, DRDO पर सवाल था ! वैज्ञानिक सेना रक्षा मामलों पर काम छोड़ कर डेंगू के मच्छर पर काम कर रहे थे, सेना बुरी तरह से लचर और खराब तकनीकों के सहारे अपनी साख गवा रही थी, जिसकी जिम्मेदारी वीके सारस्वत की थी, क्योंकि उनके अध्यक्षता में DRDO काम नहीं कर रही थी। बल्कि भ्रष्टाचार और भाई भतीजावाद में लगी थी। आरोपों की इन सभी शिकायतों के बाद
तत्कालीन रक्षा मंत्री एके एंटनी ने नियंत्रक महालेखा परीक्षक (सीजीडीए) CDGA को आदेश दिया, कि वे भारत, और भारतीय सेना ख़ासकर वायुसेना को भविष्य में आपूर्ति वाले प्रॉजेक्ट, को लेकर काम होने वाले रिसर्च वर्क जो 2017 तक पूर्ण होने वाले है। इन परियोजनाओं पर DRDO द्वारा किये जा रहे काम पर एक गुप्त ऑडिट करें। इस कार्यशाला को (James Bond’s ‘Q’ ) जेम्स बॉन्ड का ‘क्यू’ – कहा जाता है जिसे डिफेंस रिसर्च एंड डेवलपमेंट ऑर्गनाइजेशन ( DRDO) के द्वारा हैंडल किया जाता है। (CGDA) सीजीडीए की रिपोर्ट में पाया गया कि भयंकर रूप से “डीआरडीओ वीके सारस्वत की अगुवाई में ऐसे उपकरण विकसित कर रहा है जो या तो सब-स्टैंडर्ड हैं या डेडलाइन और अतिरिक्त बजट की बढोत्तरी वाले है। कई परियोजनाएं बिना सरकार की मंजूरी के शुरू की गई हैं। केवल 10% परियोजनाएं ही ऐसी है जिसमें सरकार की मंजूरी ली गई हैं, मंत्रालय के द्वारा, इससे DRDO में हो रहे धांधली का पता चला, ये भी बात सामने आई कि वीके सारस्वत ने बिना मंत्रालय से पूछे 2.88 करोड़ रुपये एक निजी संस्था को दिए, बिना काम के और गलत तरीके से ये पैसे बांटे गये, दूसरी तरह देहरादून स्थित एक लैब जिसे 14 करोड़ रुपये दिए गये, (संस्था के गवर्निंग बॉडी में वीके सारस्वत भी मौजूद थे) इसके अलावा 2.98 भी एक अन्य संस्था को दिये गए, अब सोचने की बात है एक ही टेक्नीक को विकसित करने के लिए अलग-अलग संस्थाओं को पैसे कैसे दे दिये गये ?? मतलब साफ था वीके सारस्वत का निजी स्वार्थ। जांच में घिरे सारस्वत ने अपने रिटायरमेंट से ठीक पहले एक प्लानिंग के तहत IACCS प्रोजेक्ट को निजी ठेकेदारों से करवाने की पृष्ठभूमि तैयार की जिससे करोडों रुपयों का हेरफेर और घोटाला किया जा सके। इसमें कई लोगों को शामिल किया गया जो आज सरकार के दामाद बने बैठे है। आगे सभी पर बात होगी कैसे किसकी क्या भूमिका रही है।
1997 में, भारतीय सेना ने अमेरिका से AN / TPQ-37 फायरफाइंडर रडार हासिल करने की योजना को अंतिम रूप दिया। कीमतों पर बातचीत की गई डील फाइनल करने से ठीक पहले DRDO ने सरकार को पेशकश की लेकिन ना तो उसने बनाया और ना सेना को डिलीवर किया गया। 1999 में, कारगिल युद्ध के दौरान, रडार की सख्त जरूरत थी। पाकिस्तानी गोलाबारी में कई जानें चली गई। हंगामा मचने के बाद जब भारत-अमेरिका संबंधों में सुधार हुआ, तो भारत ने 2003 में इन राडार को खरीद लिया, बाद में एम्ब्रेयर EMB 1451 है जिसे ब्राजील से खरीदा गया, महंगे दामों में। इस खर्च को बचाने के लिए वीके सारस्वत को 2013 में रिटायर्ड होने से पहले पोलैंड और ब्राजील भेजा गया, ताकि IACCS सिस्टम में प्रयोग होने वाले डिज़ायन की बारीकियां को समझा जा सकें। पूरी IACCS -IAF 7900 करोड़ घोटालें की कहानी यहीं से बुनी जानी शुरू होती है। जिसकी शुरुआत की नींव वीके सारस्वत के इस दौरे के दौरान रखी गई। वीके सारस्वत को इस ट्रेनिंग के लिए DRDO (SPIC-DELHI) (एसपीआईसी-दिल्ली) के अध्यक्ष रहे हैं 10 साल तक।
तत्कालीन नई, सत्ता में आई, मनमोहन सिंह की सरकार ने 2004- 2005 में इस खामी को देखकर भारतीय वायु सेना को अपने सीमा पर दुश्मन देशों से लड़ने के लिए इस पायलट प्रोजेक्ट पर काम करने की मंजूरी दी, जिसमें बंकर और सॉफ्टवेयर आधारित आधुनिक तकनीक से लैस बंकर का निर्माण किया जाना था, जिसमें प्रधानमंत्री सहित देश के उच्च अधिकारी सेना और जवान बैठकर दुश्मनों को देख सकें और सेना को सही निर्णय लेने में सहयोग कर सकें।
2005 में भारतीय वायु सेना ने कई कंपनियों को इसके लिए संपर्क किया जो IACCS को अंतिम रूप दे सके। ये काम DRDO के माध्यम से होना था , जिसके लिए अंतिम रूप से BEL को चुना गया। जिसनें प्रोटोटाइप और डेमोस्ट्रेशन का सफल परीक्षण किया, 2007 में BEL को 5 सिस्टम के लिए आर्डर दिया गया। 5 नोड्स को विकसित करना था जिसमें परमाणु हथियारों के प्रभाव से भी सुरक्षित करना था, इसमें 5 सिस्टम के आर्डर मिला कर टोटल 10 ऐसे बंकर तैयार होने थे जिसमें सॉफ्टवेयर और सिस्टम अत्याधुनिक हो इस परियोजना के अंदर।
क्या है वीके सारस्वत का खेल – 2013 में रिटायर्ड होने से पहले और (CGDA) राडार में आने के बाद , वीके सारस्वत ने नया रास्ता खोज निकाला सरकार और सेना के साथ भ्रष्टाचार को अंजाम देने के लिए , पहली बार BEL के माध्यम से प्राइवेट कंपनियों से टेंडर आवदेन मांगे गये, और इसमें उन लोगों को सेट किया गया जो वीके के सारस्वत के द्वारा इस काम को आगे बढ़ा सकते थे, सभी कंपनियों का पता वसंत कुंज वीके सारस्वत के घर के पास था, एक ही पते पर दो कंपनी का नाम दर्ज था, DRDO SPIC-DELHI के लिए काम करने वाली कंपनी मेसर्स एस.आर. अशोका, मैसर्स सी.एस.RD Konsultant का पता एक ही था, और DRDO के अधिकारी वासुदेव की बेटी वनिता वासुदेव इनमें से एक कंपनी में खुद बोर्ड ऑफ डायरेक्टर रही है, जिनके साथ RD Konsultant काम करती थी। दस्तावेज हमारे पास है, पिछली बार आपको बताया था कैसे इसको DRDO के सिफारिश पर टेंडर अलॉट किया गया PPR बनाने का काम। ये सिफारिश करने वाला व्यक्ति वीके सारस्वत इस पूरे खेल का मास्टरमाइंड है। RD Konsultant के इस PPR पर गलत डिज़ायन पर TN सिंंह के साइन है , बंकर गलत डिज़ायन के कारण गिरे है ये अति गंभीर विषय है, और सुरक्षा पर सवाल अगर प्रधानमंत्री या कोई और उस स्तर का व्यक्ति इस घटना में हादसे का शिकार होता …

New Delhi: An ailing official with the Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO), who was described as a “whistle-blower” by the then Defence Minister, the late Manohar Parrikar, is facing “forceful eviction” from his government house in what he has described as a “vindictive action” by the DRDO. Prakash Singh, who belonged to the Administration cadre of DRDO, was removed from service in August 2020 for being “absent” from the job. However, the facts on record, which The Sunday Guardian has gone through, present a totally different picture. Singh played an instrumental role in bringing to public view the alleged corruption and nepotism done by at least three director level officers with DRDO—one of whom was suspended on the last day of his job—and anomalies related to recruitment of four different scientists—of these four, the appointments of two were annulled. Singh’s immediate ordeal started in August 2016 when he was posted at Joint Cypher Bureau (JCB), a wing of the DRDO, on 18 August 2016 as a senior administration officer. Three days later, he was sent to another sub office of the same wing where he was not given any work until he stayed there till 29 November 2017 despite Singh sending multiple communications seeking “work”. On 30 November 2017, he on his own “rejoined” the JCB office. According to Singh, he went to this office till 11 December and was allotted an access pass, an official email address and departmental work. However, on the afternoon of 11 December 2017, his access was removed and he was stopped from entering the establishment. Despite that, he continued to go outside his office and register his presence by showing his ID card into the CCTV camera that was installed at the gates. He continued to do so till August 2020 when he was removed from service for “absence from duty” and all his pensionary benefits, that came with 33 years of service, were stopped. “I was not given any salary for these 21 months (from December 2017 to August 2020) despite going to register my presence every day in front of the CCTV camera, as I was not allowed to enter the premises. Now, they are coming to my house daily and asking me to vacate the house despite my case of illegal removal from service still pending in multiple forums and both my wife and I are in ill health, the certificates of which I have already submitted to the offices concerned,” Singh told The Sunday Guardian. According to Singh, the DRDO carried out an ex-parte inquiry against him while deciding to remove him from service, and did not give him the charge-sheet and the inquiry officer in the case himself was allegedly “tainted”. Documents accessed by The Sunday Guardian clearly show that the then Defence minister Manohar Parrikar had directed the DRDO and the Ministry of Defence “to identify and take action against the persons who trumped up false charges and committed a number of procedural irregularities with single-minded objective of harassing Shri Prakash Singh” after disciplinary proceedings were initiated against Singh. However, as per Singh, no inquiry was done by DRDO to identify these persons and rather it was he who has been continuously “targeted” since then. The proceedings were started, as per Singh, after he brought out in the open the alleged wrongdoings within DRDO by a few. “Raksha mantri has ordered quashing of the charges framed against Shri Prakash Singh,” reads the official communication. Another official communication by the Vigilance Department of Ministry of Defence, of October 2013, while investigating a case of irregular recruitment that was brought out in the open by Singh, has stated that the CVC was treating Singh as a “whistle blower” while stating that “it is palpable that action by some in handling the three complaints lodged by Shri Prakash Singh to CBI was taken with the motive to cause difficulties to the complainant”. Email sent to DRDO for their response on the matter and whether any action, as directed by Parrikar, was taken to identify the persons who were harassing Singh was taken, did not elicit any response till the time the story went to press.
Shri Prakash Singh, Senior Administrative officer , Grade-I of DRDO, MOD, Government of India (Who is Acknowledged Whistle Blower of the DRDO,MOD, Government of India vide MOD, Government of India order No. PC to 470 / (Vig.)/2012 dated 19-10-2025) has been (I) illegally removed from Government service Vide DRDO HQ, New Delhi order dated 07-08-2020 on his so called misconduct of absence from Duty for the period in which he was illegally restricted to attend his official duty where he was posted vide DRDO HQ order dated 18-08-2016 & (ii) his statutory nature of Review Petition dated 31-08-2020 submitted to His Excellency, the President of the Republic of India against ibid illegal penalty order dated 07-08-2029 has been illegally got rejected on 23-11-2022 by deliberately distorting & concealing the relevant material facts from the present Defence Minister of the Government of India & by deliberately misinterpreting the express provisions of the fully applicable Rules & Laws & (iii) an order has been issued by the Estate Manager EMU Timarpur Delhi DRDO, MOD, Government of India for his forceful eviction from his Government accommodation at any time on any day after 21-01-2021 (although he is resisting the same through available domestic forums of India) (I) by deliberately violating the laid down procedure of the CCS (CCA)Rules, 1965 ,(ii) by deliberately violating the Ministry of Defence (MOD) , Government of India Policy issued Vide MOD ID No. 3200/DIR(Vig.)/2012 dated 08-01-2014 &(iii) by deliberately violating every aspect of the Rule of Law which is ultimately leading to deliberate violation of the universally accepted at least 25 kinds of the human rights of not only of Shri Prakash singh but also of the members of his family which inter alia includes human right of life & liberty.
Tomorrow a DRDO Lab Director is retiring and giving a good Bouquet with full of plenty corrupt flowers to DRDO Chairman.
Such big prestigious national important organization Chairman is helpless to act against corruption prevailing in DRDO.

घटना सेक्टर-49 थाना क्षेत्र के सेक्टर-77 स्थित प्रतीक विस्टेरीया सोसायटी के बाहर की है. बीते शनिवार को डीआरडीओ के वैज्ञानिक के अपहरण की सूचना मिलते ही नोएडा के पुलिस महकमे में हड़कंप मच गया. सूचना मिलते ही कमिश्नर आलोक सिंह के नेतृत्व में छह टीम बनाई गईं.
दिल्ली से सटे यूपी के नोएडा में रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) के जूनियर वैज्ञानिक को पुलिस ने सकुशल बरामद कर लिया. वैज्ञानिक को हनी ट्रैप के जाल में फंसा कर उनके परिवार वालों से 10 लाख की फिरौती मांगी गई थी. बताया जा रहा है कि वैज्ञानिक को शनिवार की शाम नोएडा में मसाज के नाम पर एक होटल में बंधक बनाकर अगवा कर लिया गया था.

पुलिस ने बताया कि शनिवार को मसाज सेंटर का एक आदमी आया और वह उसके साथ नोएडा में ही एक होटल में मसाज के लिए चले गए. थोड़ी ही देर में तीन-चार लोग वहां पहुंचे और वैज्ञानिक को धमकाने लगे. उन पर सेक्स रैकेट में शामिल होने का आरोप लगाया और खुद को पुलिस अधिकारी बताने लगे. फिर उन्हें होटल के कमरे में बंधक बना लिया. फिर परिवार वालों से 10 लाख रुपयों की डिमांड कर डाली.
बदमाशों ने खुद को पुलिस अधिकारी बताते हुए वैज्ञानिक को धमकाया अगर पैसे नहीं मिले तो उसे गिरफ्तार दिखाया जाएगा. जिससे न सिर्फ उसकी नौकरी जाएगी बल्कि बदनामी अलग होगी.
बताया जा रहा है कि पुलिस को सूचना डीआरडीओ मुख्यालय से मिली थी. जिसके बाद पुलिस ने लगातार छापेमारी शुरू की और देर रात उन्हें सफलता मिली और वैज्ञानिक को सकुशल मुक्त करा कर परिवार वालों को सौंप दिया. पुलिस अब इस के अन्य साथियों को तलाश में जुट गई है. जिससे यह पता चल सके कि यह गैंग अब तक कितने लोगों को ऐसे ठग चुका है.
पुलिस को तफ्तीश में पता चला कि ये सारा खेल हनी ट्रैप का था. पुलिस ने बताया कि वैज्ञानिक अजय प्रताप अपने मोबाइल पर मसाज पार्लर और स्पा सर्च कर रहे थे. जहां उन्हें किडनैपर्स का नंबर मिला. किडनैपर्स ने पहले वैज्ञानिक को अपने जाल मे फंसाया फिर अपहरण कर 10 लाख की फिरौती मांगी. पीड़ित परिवार ने थाना सेक्टर 49 नोएडा पर इस घटना की लिखित तहरीर देकर मु0अ0सं0 802/2020 धारा 364ए भादवि0 पंजीकृत कराया.
सर्विलांस की सहायता से जब पुलिस लोकेशन पर पहुंची तो होंडा सिटी गाड़ी में तीन लोग मौजूद थे, जो कहीं भागने की फिराक में थे. लेकिन पुलिस टीम ने ड्राइविंग सीट पर बैठे दीपक पुत्र राजेश निवासी गांव चेहडका, थाना बहल, जिला भिवाडी, हरियाणा को पकड़ लिया. वह वर्तमान में आई 64 ओयो होटल सेक्टर 41 में ठहरा हुआ था. कार में पिछली सीट पर बैठे दो व्यक्ति खिडकी खोलकर फरार हो गए.
पुलिस ने उसी की निशानदेही पर सेक्टर 41 के ओयो होटल के कमरा नंबर 203 में दबिश देकर अपहरणकर्ता सुनीता गुर्जर पत्नी देवेन्द्र गुर्जर निवासी गांव आगाहपुर, सेक्टर 41, थाना सेक्टर 39 नोएडा और राकेश उर्फ रिंकू फौजी पुत्र दिनेश कुमार निवासी गांव चेहडका, थाना बहल, जिला भिवाडी, हरियाणा के कब्जे से अगवा किए गए वैज्ञानिक को बरामद कर लिया. उसी कमरे में वैज्ञानिक को बंधक बनाया गया था.
इस मामले में सफलतापूर्वक वैज्ञानिक को मुक्त कराने और आरोपियों की गिरफ्तारी को लेकर अपर मुख्य सचिव (गृह) ने जनपद गौतमबुद्धनगर की पुलिस टीम को 5 लाख रुपये का नगद पुरस्कार देने की घोषणा की है.
Govt bans printing of calendars, diaries, festival greeting cards by all ministries, PSUs
By Gaurav Noronha, ET Bureau Sep 03, 2020 The government has banned the printing of materials like calendars, diaries and festival greeting cards by all ministries, departments and public sector undertakings (PSUs). The finance ministry asked all the organs of the government to adopt digital means to publish such material, in a memorandum on Wednesday.
“The Government of India has decided that there will be no further activities towards printing wall calendars, desktop calendars, diaries, festival greeting cards and similar materials by all Ministries/Departments/Autonomous Bodies and other organs of the Government,” the directive said.
Further, the government also banned the printing of coffee table books and directed that e-books should be used instead… “The printing of Coffee Table books is also banned and appropriate use of E-Books is encouraged. Therefore, all concerned are directed to make efforts to adopt innovative means to use digital or online method for the above activities,” it said. This was the second such decision which appears to be aimed at rationalising costs with regard to the government’s printing activities and encouraging the adoption of digital tools.
As per a cabinet secretariat decision last month, the diary and calendar printing activities for all ministries, departments and PSUs would be centrally handled by the Bureau of Outreach and Communication (BOC).
The secretariat had directed all government bodies to submit their diary and calendar printing requirements to the BOC by August and that the printing and distribution of these materials should be completed by December. The government has been making a conscious effort to adopt digital means wherever applicable.
“Given the prevailing circumstances in which the world is increasingly moving towards adopting digital force-multipliers for productivity, the Government of India has decided to follow this best practice,” a statement from the finance ministry said.
“There is to be a concerted effort towards incorporating innovative methods in such matters. Using technological innovations for planning, scheduling and forecasting is well known to be economical, efficient and effective,” it added

NEW DELHI: The Defence Research and Defence Organisation (DRDO) is going for a deep overhaul of its laboratories and has set up an expert panel to review their charter of duties to prepare the armed forces for futuristic battlefields.
To be led by Prof P Ramagopal Rao, Director IIT Delhi, the select panel will delve deep into the nature of work being carried out by each lab under the organisation and will present a report to redefine the charter of work being carried out and minimize technology overlaps.
Interestingly, the panel also includes representation from the armed forces, with Deputy Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sandeep Singh as a member. Others include ISRO Director S Somnath and two representatives from within the DRDO. The committee is to present a roadmap within 45 days with the specific directive to “redefine the charter of duties of labs on the current and futuristic battlefield scenario; minimise the overlay of technologies amongst the labs.”
The study could pave the way for a reorganisation of the organisation that has a network of 52 labs across the country engaged in a variety of projects – from nuclear missiles to development of fighters and UAVs, food products for soldiers, data analytics and laser technology.
The last major overhaul of the organisation took place after the Rama Rao Committee report of 2008 that had suggested that DRDO be reorganised into clusters of labs based on the role they were tasked with. Seven clusters were set up like missiles, armaments, aeronautical systems and life sciences.
The Rama Rao Committee had recommended the setting up of a Defence Technology Commission, a younger age profile for scientists, more involvement of the organization in defence procurements, more foreign collaborations, a dedicated research board, restructuring of labs and a commercial arm of the research body. It had also recommended that DRDO concentrate efforts in 8-10 critical areas suiting its existing resources and that 11 labs related to life sciences be transferred out of DRDO to other departments.

The central government has set up an expert committee to redefine the role of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the current and futuristic defence and battlefield scenarios. It aims to reduce Indian military’s dependence on imports, as India is the second-largest arms importer in the world after Saudi Arabia. Moreover, its also a move towards Prime minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” in the defence sector. On day one of his second innings as DRDO head, Dr G. Satheesh Reddy, who is also the secretary of the department of defence research and development (ministry of defence), constituted the five-member elite panel. Incidentally, the Cabinet’s Appointments Committee had on Monday approved a two-year extension of tenure for Reddy.
The committee is headed by professor V. Ramagopal Rao, Director of IIT, Delhi. Other members include S. Somnath, Director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre; Air Marshal Sandeep Singh, Deputy Chief of Air Staff; Dr. Samir V. Kamat, Director General-Naval Systems & Materials (NS & M) and Benjamin Lionel, Director, Instruments Research & Development Establishment of DRDO.
The terms of reference of the committee will be to study and review the charter of duties of all 52 laboratories of DRDO and to redefine the same for both current and futuristic defence and battlefield scenarios. Part of the panel’s tasks will be to minimise the overlap of technologies amongst the laboratories.
The committee has given a deadline of 45 days to submit its report and its chairman may co-opt subject specialists as invitees to specific meetings.
But, defence experts are apprehensive about the new panel, hoping it will not meet the fate of other expert committees, such as the P. Rama Rao Committee.
The committee headed by P. Rama Rao, former Secretary, Department of Science and Technology, had submitted its report in 2008. The report, DRDO’s first external review aimed at restructuring the defence R&D body, suggested that DRDO concentrate only on “core technologies” of “strategic importance” instead of venturing into making juices, mosquito repellents, titanium dental implants and so on. The committee had also suggested de-centralization of DRDO management and making it a leaner organization. Subsequently, on the Rama Rao panel’s suggestion, DRDO’s management was decentralised by merging its 52 labs to form seven clusters based on technology domains such as missiles, electronic warfare, radars, aerial vehicles and underwater weapons.
DRDO has often been criticised for delayed projects and missing repeated deadlines with huge cost overruns. And in absence of self-reliance in defence, Indian armed forces continue to be heavily dependent on imports with over 70 per cent of armed forces requirements are met from foreign firms.
On Monday, a delegation by DRDO made a detailed presentation before Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, identifying 108 military sub-systems and components for development by Indian (private) industry and the DRDO will provide support the process. DRDO claims that the design and development of these subsystems would be done over the next couple of years. This announcement follows the negative list of 101 military hardware from imports, which have to be domestically procured in a phased manner.
The extension of Dr G Satheesh Reddy confirm that Modi Ji’s team is believing him and expecting that DRDO will extend its full potential for “Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan”.
The last two years observations shows 75 % energy was wasted to manage/ controls the most of DG’s because due to prevailing sycophancy /nepotism/corruption creates massive presences of incompetents in the present structure. All though Dr. Reddy’s is lucky enough till date able managed and survived, now a very big incompetents chunk is retiring in 2021 and will give some relief to DRDO.
Rest corruption field was not able to manage due to clutches of these above incompetents’ nexus and due to helplessness situation the things carryon.

DRDO is restructuring very fast but will be face teething problems due to its requested to PMO give free hand to Dr. Reddy to get rid of these incompetents/corrupts/ products of sycophancy.
Every one of DRDO 3000 people knows this fact but to DRDS/DRTC schemes locked their lips. So once again good wishes and hope will leave some foot prints like Homi J. Bhabha.
