Today on Saturday 21st Feb 2015 the fouji jawan doing duty since morning, ferrying Tandoor, Karahis (Halwai Utensils ) for Dr MR Bhutiyani, Sc G, Director, DTRL, DRDO daughter marriage. He is so poor that he is getting 14000 Rs Transport Allowances per month. His daughter is software engineer in USA. He is captured directorship by lot of senior scientists. But he is so poor that he is misusing poor tax payers money.
Request all common man that expose all corrupt practices of DRDO officials – Jai Hind

Chapter – XIII
TRANSPORT FOR AMENITY PURPOSES
Govt. vehicles can be hired out to the following agencies /individuals in accordance
with the norms stipulated in relevant instructions issued from time to
time :-
(a) Civil Govt department.
(b) Provincial Govt and local authorities.
(c) Military department including military farms.
(d) Individuals paid from Defence Service Estimates.
(e) Civil firms far carriage of goods when considered necessary by Labs/
Estt.
(f) Govt contractors when certified by labs/Estts that the use of Govt tpt
is inescapable aild that the goods lo be carried are for Govt use. Hiring
Charges for various types of vehicles will be charged at the daily or
Normal rates as favourable to the State.
Hiring out rates will be as notified by Govt of India from time to time..
13.2 USE OF GOVT. TRANSPORT FOR RECREATION, /AMENITY
PURPOSE
Govt vehicles call be provided for recreational purposes under conditions
{given in the succeeding paras on amenity rate/special amenity rates (for officers
in possession of private cars) far Service Officers and free of charges to other ranks (combatants). ‘The rateslhire charges for different types of vehicles
are notified in Govt orders from time to time.
13.2.1 The purposes for which the Govt vehicle can be sanctioned as amenity
run are:-
(a) For recreational visits to neighboring town, and stations.
(b) For visits to places of historical /tourist interests e.g. forts, historical
Caves, battle grounds wild life sanctuaries, major national projects like dam sites, national laboratories steel plants etc 80Km each of the way up to total of 160 Kms.
(c) For visits to private residence for enjoyment of organized hospitality
(d) For organized sports.
(e) For recreational purpose and other entertainments.
(f) To the nearest railway station where suitable train services connect with recreational facilities.
13.2.2 The conditions governing authorization of transport for amenity purposes are as follows :-
(a) Use of vehicles for such purposes should not hamper the normal working or the project activity of the Lab/ Estt.
(b) Amenity runs will be restricted up to 160 Kms i.e. 80 Kms each way.
(c) No individual officer will be allowed to hire the vehicle on amenity rates for more than once in a week
(d) Outside transport will not be specifically hired for amenity purposes
(e) Parties must be made up to the utmost extent practicable so as to economies in transport. Where possible, large parties in preference to small, will be made up so as to fill larger types of vehicles to capacity and reduce the number of vehicles used to the minimum
(f) Journeys must be sanctioned either an special occasions or as standard journeys organized as a regular service. The latter course should be adopted wherever it is considered it will result in more economical use of transport
(g) The periods of use will he defined so as to minimize time spent idle halts
(h) Car diary with the words “Recreational journey” written in red ink against the heading “Specific Nature of Duty”, will be used. The endorsement will be signed by the officer authorizing the journey.
(i) No increase in the transport establishment of Labs/Estts would be! Sought accepted on the basis of additional commitments on account of amenity running
(j)The parties traveling in the amenity running vehicles may include the family members and their guests including ladies.

Directors may delegate this responsibility to any officer of the Lab/Essts designated as MTO. see the rule of MTO post in drdo. DOPT order was not required for farzi post. as like a father’s property of director in drdo lab. DRDO BOSS not make own rule otherwise in trouble.

You know DRDO have own 54 Lab in India menace 54 Director use official car 100% other HQ officer use car (SA to RM & other) 100% now you told me one officer pay 12000/- transport allowance + 54= 648000/- x 12 = 7776000/- x 9 (from 2006 to 2015)=69984000/- + Driver overtime = 100% corruption you only imagine 0.1% but now truth 100% corruption view.

Dear please verify his transport allowance.As per DOPT order transport allowance rule mandatory to all government agency. DRDO was Different Rule Different Organization company of government of India working under MOD.

Send One RTI to DRDO HQ for how many Sc ‘G’& Sc ‘H’,CC, DG, SA to RM use official vehicle in DRDO all lab and who many officers often his transport allowance as per the rule ?
mostly all drdo lab & HQ setting officer use 100% government transport but not often transport allowance they are cheating in transport allowance it is 100% truth.

Thanks to all for providing information. As for as I know the corruption is at higher management level (depends on lab strength) , junior officers are hardly getting such benifits (misuse). Moreover many times in my service life (25 years+) I have been refused to get an official vehicle on temp duty also.
