As per website of ANDHRA UNIVERSITY, Visakhapatnam the B.Tech is not in the list Programmes Offered in Distance Mode.

देहरादून। डीआरडीओ (रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास संगठन) में वैज्ञानिकों की भर्ती प्रक्रिया में बदलाव हो सकता है। सूत्रों की मानें तो सीवीसी (सेंट्रल विजिलेंस कमीशन) ने एक रिपोर्ट में डीआरडीओ में होने वाली वैज्ञानिकों की भर्तियां संघ लोक सेवा आयोग (यूपीएससी) की मदद से करवाने की सिफारिश की थी, जिस पर अब मंत्रालय में मंथन शुरू हो गया है। इसके साथ ही इससे पहले मौजूदा भर्ती प्रक्रिया की आईआईएम, इंडियन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ पब्लिक एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन, इंडियन एडमिनिस्ट्रेटिव स्टाफ कालेज जैसे किसी एक प्रतिष्ठित संस्थान से आकलन करवाने की सिफारिश भी सीवीसी ने की है।

उल्लेखनीय है कि बीते वर्ष मामले का खुलासा होने के बाद रक्षा मंत्री एके एंटनी ने सीबीआई जांच के आदेश दिए थे। सीवीओ (सेंट्रल विजिलेंस अफसर) की जांच रिपोर्ट में आरएसी के माध्यम से होने वाली भर्तियों पर सवाल खड़े किए गए हैं। मंत्रालय ने सीवीसी की रिपोर्ट पर नवंबर 2013 में सीबीआई को जांच सौंप दी है। सीबीआई को मामला सौंपने से पहले विजिलेंस ने अपने स्तर पर भर्तियों की जांच रिपोर्ट तैयार की है। बताया जा रहा है कि वैज्ञानिकों की भर्तियों में दो पूर्व डीआरडीओ प्रमुखों सहित अन्य अधिकारियों पर कथित धांधली के आरोप हैं, इसमें अपने रिश्तेदारों को नौकरी देने जैसे आरोप शामिल हैं। डीआरडीओ में संस्थान में वैज्ञानिकों के चयन के लिए अपनी अंदरूनी व्यवस्था है। डीआरडीओ में आरएसी के माध्यम से वैज्ञानिकों की भर्ती होती है।

यूपीएससी से होता था चयनः 80 के दशक तक यूपीएससी के माध्यम से वैज्ञानिकों का चयन होता था, जिसे दोबारा लागू करने की व्यवस्था फिर बन सकती है। डीआरडीओ अपने हाथ से भर्ती प्रक्रिया निकलने के पक्ष में नहीं है।amar ujala 5 feb1

The website of Jawharlal  Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad stated in their website that “ the school was offering B.Tech correspondence – cum – contact programme (CCC) from 1983 to 2009. Keeping in view of the ACITE guidelines for B.Tech (CCC) has been suspended since 2010.”

Hello,

In pursuance of Rule 8(2) Schedule ID of DRDS Rules 1979 as amended a Peer Committee for assessment of Scientists G to Scientists  H (OS) in the year 2013 was constituted and assessed the suitability of Scientists  G for the grade of Scientists H (OS). Subsequently several Scientists G were promoted to the rank of Scientist H  (OS). However declaration of results for promotions from Scientist G to Scientists H (OS) was surprisingly delayed and announced in month of October, 2013 instead of July 2013.

In reference to the above kindly provide the following information under RTI Act 2005.

INFORMATION SOUGHT

  1. Copy of the letter by which competent authority constituted Peer Committee.
  2. The details of Chairman and Members of the Peer Committee.
  3. The dates on which Peer Committee meetings were held for assessing the suitability of Scientists G for promotion to Scientists H(Outstanding Scientist).
  4. The date on which results has been declared.
  5. The date from which the promotions of Scientist H (Outstanding Scientist) in the year 2013 became effective.
  6. The date on which results for promotion from Scientists G to Scientists H (OS) were declared and became effective in the year 2012.
  7. The reasons for delay in declaration of results.
  8. These promotions were conducted under which promotion scheme of Government of India. (Flexible Complementing Scheme (FCS) or Merit Promotion Scheme (MPS).
  9. Copy of the minutes of Peer Committee duly approved by Defence Minister.

10. Whether any representation was submitted by any assessed Scientist G to Defence Minister regarding his/her promotion before the declaration of results. (Yes/No)

11. If answer to point (9) is yes then provide copy of the letter/representation.

12. Whether any review Peer Committee meeting was held again in the year 2013 for reviewing the recommendations/Minutes  of previous Peer Committee Meeting held earlier in 2013  for promotion of Scientists G to Scientists H (Outstanding Scientists) for the year 2013. (Yes/No)

Shri Avinash Chander, DS & CCR&D (M&SS) was appointed as Secretary Department of Defence Research & Development-cum Director General, Defence Research & Development Organisation and Scientific Advisor to Raksha Mantri vide order No.12/9/2013-EO(SM.1) dated 31st May 2013 of DOPT. Dr. VK Saraswat was SA to RM, DGR&D, DRDO and Secretary (DR&D) from 01st September 2009 to 31st May 2013. Shri M. Natrajan was SA to RM, DGR&D, DRDO and Secretary (DR&D) from 31st August 2004 to 31st August 2009.

Please refer to Appointment Committee of the Cabinet letter no 12/9/2013- EO (SM-I) dated 31 May 2013 in respect of appointment of Sh Avinash Chander, DS, CC R&D (M&SS) as Secretary, DRDO cum DG,DRDO and Scientific Adviser to Raksha Mantri for period of three years.

In Para 2 of this letter “The appointment of Sh Avinash Chander beyond his date of retirement i.e. 30.11.2014 would be on contract basis with the same terms and conditions as he would be entitled to Secretary (DRD) before the date of retirement.”
